"...Have to believe we are magic nothin' can stand in our way... Have to believe we are magic... Don't let your aim ever stray. And if all your hopes survive, your destiny will arrive... and bring all your dreams alive...for you.” Olivia Newton John from Xanadu
Transformation is simple. Use your magic wand. Consider what is good about your life~ the places, people and things that pick up your spirit, make you feel good, wrap you in a blanket of happy. Look for free events where you live. Search for museums, libraries, nature sanctuaries, scenic views, art installations, happenings in your neck of the woods. Make them part of your routine and experience.
Spend time with people who energize and soothe. Let others go. Note the objects in your life that make you happy~ a favorite chair or sweater, a comfy pillow, a special painting or treasured book of poetry and so forth. Appreciate these things. Feel their resonance. Ignore what you don't like, unless you can change it. Focus on what uplifts you. Increase the good, decrease the bad. Slowly you are changing your resonance and will attract more good due to these changes. Slowly your are transforming your world.
Ponder what you wish were available; the restaurants, shops, schools and activities. Give thought to the people you would like to meet, the groups you would like to join, the activities that would energize and inspire you. Put your wishes in God's hands and let go. These desires may show up in your world without effort.
Create your day, your week and your month ahead.
Stop complaining… start creating. YOU are the artist of your life. You have more power than you know. Ignore what’s wrong (or address it when possible), enjoy what's good and daydream about what could be. Establish a pattern that will begin to change the environment around you. I’m not sure if this actually creates change, or what’s wrong becomes invisible while what’s right comes to the fore, but magic WILL happen.
Years ago we were searching for a home and couldn't find anything suitable. We had defined our desires, but nothing was on the radar. We maintained our focus in this search, but let go of obsessing about it. Shortly thereafter, magic happened. A charming home became available. It was a property we hadn't known existed, a house on a spit of land jutting out into the harbor. It was surrounded by wildlife, sunrises and sunsets, a fireplaced bedroom, a large wraparound deck, wild beach roses and a small garden. The home had been "invisible" to us prior to this moment, even though we knew the area well. It was more than we had dreamed, a lovely, inspiring place to live. Had I created this home out of thin air??? Or had it always been there??
The practice described above takes focus, concentration and discipline. It uses pleasant and creative daydreaming. By activating the good vibes you create a new world. Some changes will be subtle and appear slowly, others will be instantaneous. Each minor shift will be like fairy dust impacting the whole and stimulating your enthusiasm to continue. As a bonus, this practice becomes second nature enhancing everything you do.
You have more power than you think. By taking control of your life, by ignoring or correcting what’s wrong, by relishing what's good and by visualizing what you would like; you begin a process that will surprise, delight and open doors to a world that is here right now… but that you cannot see, yet.
Be patient, persevere, have fun and watch the magic unfold. Make a wish. Consciousness creates.
